The assets of nature

Visit Asaa Havn (Asaa harbour) and see the red fishing houses from the thirties. There is a fishing museum in some of the houses where the former harbour master Arne Hjelm tells old and new stories about the history of fishing. In other houses you may watch various craftsmen at work.  

Bird sanctuary 

The bird sanctuary at the beach meadows is of international importance for many different birds. The beach meadows at Asaa and Geraa are a very important breeding grounds for the redshank, the dunlin, the lapwing and the beach magpie as well as smaller birds like the yellow wagtail.
