The municipality of Brønderslev is known for its very large annual fair. The history of the fair was way back to medieval times and in recent years the fair has become a major attraction with thousands of people attending.
Hjallerup Fair
Every year, there are around 200,000 excited people and 1,400 horses from all over Scandinavia participating the Hjallerup Fair, one of the Northern Europes largest horse and flea market.
Brønderslev Fair
The Brønderslev Fair is a large horse and flea market with a travelling fun fair and huge telts, a place where people could buy foods, drinks and beers. You will find different entertainments during the fair.
The market is always held on the first weekend in September, from friday until monday the following week.
Jerslev FairWith about 180 peddlers and a fun fair, the Jerslev Fair is one of the biggest horses and peddler´s fairs in Northern Jutland and offers three enjoyable days excellent entertainments for the entire family .
Asaa Fair
In the middle of Asaa, there is a nice three days market where you can make a bargain while listening to music or you can try in the fun fair.
Flauenskjold Fair
The Flauenskjold Fair is held every year during the last weekend in May. The fair has many peddler´s stalls, a fun fair and lots of entertainment by various artists.
