The Art Center was built in 1977 by Birger Jensen who with this unique building carried out his dream of creating a center for art and culture. For financial reasons, the Art Center was sold in 1985 but in 2002 the Art Center reopened when a group of local citizens and companies bought the house back. The Art Center offers various exhibitions, an exciting gallery shop and a café with dishes at reasonable prices.

The sculptures and paintings from Rev. Laier´s artistic period (1936-1966) are displayed in his old home. It all started with his much talked about concrete sculpture of Jesus on the cross followed by many bigger and smaller portrait sculptures of Grundtvig, Brorson, H. C. Andersen, etc.
All the sculptures are made of concrete. This means, that Rev. Laier had only about 20 minutes to finish each piece.
A collection you must see!
